HUD-approved housing counselors
across Texas are available at little or no cost. You may find a HUD-approved housing counselor near you by calling 800-569-4287.

Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies: These agencies can assist you in becoming debt free and offer a wide range of services. However, they are most helpful as a source of information and credit education. Their goal is to help you remain debt-free.
